Most blogs I read about are more into gossip and what the press has covered. I personally like to see useful information that is worth reading once in a while. Give somebody a reason to come back.

Comment on In Westmorland, CA.

Your journeys have really brightened my day. I have been feeling a little down lately. Just the normal stresses from life. I usually try to venture out on the internet and find good blogs to comment on. It's not easy finding interesting subjects sometimes.

Comment on Mojave Desert in California

Wow, I hope you are not walking this entire time? I've read the gospels of Jesus the Christ many times (the reason I'm trying to figure out what Christianity has to do with those beautiful teachings? NO, I am NOT a Christian!) and will continue to study them. I do not read fiction at all and I seldom read anymore during my walks. The words I hear in my solitude (the art of Lonely study) I find much easier to read. I have no idea who Bilbo Baggins is... I'm assuming it is a compliment... thank you.

Comment on News from Oregon

I feel like this is a real life Lord of the Rings. You're on this incredible journey like Bilbo Baggins. Do you read much while you're out there?

Comment on I'm walking home!

Steve, <br />I can't stop reading your story. It's seriously one that has me both on the edge of my seat and sitting back to ponder. Thanks for sharing.

Comment on A week away from Canada border and aiming for Florida!

What a fantastic story. I love that you're spreading so much joy and goodness as you walk. It's amazing how simple things like boots become so profound, isn't it?
