You are like Christopher Columbus! Most blogs I read about are more into gossip and what the press has covered. I personally like to see useful information that is worth reading once in a while. Give somebody a reason to come back.

Your journeys have really brightened my day. I have been feeling a little down lately. Just the normal stresses from life. I usually try to venture out on the internet and find good blogs to comment on. It's not easy finding interesting subjects sometimes.

I read every thing I could get my hands on during my earlier walks, of James Allen, Kahlil Gibran, Emerson, and Thoreau. I've read the gospels of Jesus the Christ many times (the reason I'm trying to figure out what Christianity has to do with those beautiful teachings? NO, I am NOT a Christian!) and will continue to study them. I do not read fiction at all and I seldom read anymore during my walks. The words I hear in my solitude (the art of Lonely study) I find much easier to read. I have no idea who Bilbo Baggins is... I'm assuming it is a compliment... thank you.

What a fantastic story. I love that you're spreading so much joy and goodness as you walk. It's amazing how simple things like boots become so profound, isn't it?
